ELECTRICAL SYSTEM
COVERED:
Electrical panels, breakers, light switches, dimmer switches, GFCI outlets, standard electrical outlets, doorbell transformers, hardwired smoke detectors, interior electrical wiring (D.C. wiring), light fixtures, junction boxes, and wiring from the electrical panel to any covered electrical component.
EXCLUDED:
Circuit overloads, faceplates, decorative fixture components, low-voltage systems, communication wiring, smart home control systems, surge damage caused by external sources, and all components and wiring to or from a solar power system, standby generator, backup battery system, or energy management system.
ATTIC FAN / CEILING FAN / EXHAUST FAN
COVERED:
All mechanical and electrical components and parts, including motors, switches, mounting hardware, fan blades, speed controls, and internal wiring associated with the covered fan unit.
EXCLUDED:
Cosmetic damage, remote controls, decorative accessories, and fan balancing not related to mechanical failure.
Replacement Standards
"Replace" or "Replacement"
STANDARD COVERAGE
Covered items will be replaced with builder-grade equipment. Builder-grade equipment consists of standard-size, standard-color, and standard-configuration products commonly used in residential construction and designed to accommodate most homes.
Should the homeowner select upgraded equipment, specialty finishes, designer fixtures, custom configurations, or premium products, the homeowner shall be responsible for any costs exceeding the value of the builder-grade replacement allowance.

Coverage applies to the replacement of qualifying light fixtures, ceiling fans, attic fans, and exhaust fans when replacement is deemed necessary due to covered mechanical or electrical failure.
